What’s next for Clay Guida and Claudio Puelles?

The former Strikeforce lightweight champion and a staple in the UFC’s lightweight division already has a Hall of Fame career. Even though ‘The Carpenter’ is in the twilight of his career, he always gives tough times to his opponents. This makes him a great litmus test for upcoming lightweight fighters.

With his resume, ‘The Carpenter’ can retire anytime he wants and depart with an iconic career behind him. However, as he has always bounced back from a defeat, the fight fans could see him taking on another up-and-coming fighter soon.

For Puelles, the future is bright in the lightweight division. With his five-fight win streak, the graph is only going upward. That said, he has a long list of very formidable opponents waiting for him in the top 15.
