An unusual balloon was spotted flying over the mainland United States of America. The U.S. officials consider the balloon as a Chinese spy. However, this claim was denied by Chinese officials. Moreover, both the set of officials have given a varied set of statements regarding the balloon. However, amid all this, a certain UFC veteran has given his opinion on the issue.

Amongst other issues revolving around the current news, the controversial former UFC star has tweeted questioning the incident. The former fighter possibly sent out a cryptic message to the officials of the two nations.

Jake Shields has his say on the Chinese Balloon

The 33-11 record holder has spoken about the Chinese balloon issue. Shields sent out a tweet in his usual manner and gave his opinion on the trending topic. On Tuesday, The Washington Post reported a suspected ‘Chinese Spy Balloon’ over Montana. Montana happens to be the location of some nuclear missile silos in the United States.

While reacting to the news, Shields wrote, “China has some of the most advanced technology in the world and they send a balloon to spy on us. Something feels off to me about the whole situation”.

The former Strikeforce champion found something “off” about the whole situation. But, it is unclear as to what the former UFC fighter is referring to here.

Mike Jackson targets an unusual fight against Shields

After getting cut from the UFC late last year, Mike Jackson wants to fight Jake Shields in the gym. Jackson and Shields have been involved in a physical confrontation with each other over the past. Moreover, the 44-year-old has laid some accusations on Jackson of being a racist.

Furthermore, the former UFC fighter has also accused Shields of being a ‘white supremacist’. However, it remains to be seen if the pair get their hands on each other in a ‘gym fight’.
