In a recent interview, GSP narrated his bizarre fan experiences. ‘Rush’ who hails from Quebec, Canada, said that people pursued to visit him from many places. In the interview, GSP requested people should quit trying to visit his parents. “I told them [Parents]… you should not open the door to these people sometimes… you don’t know who’s coming. You know what I mean, it’s dangerous. Some people, sometimes they have a mental illness problem, you know what I mean, so I do this to try to protect my family,” said ‘Rush’.
Furthermore, GSP said that people would access his parent’s address from the phonebook and then visit them. He calls his family naïve because they are from the countryside. “They don’t know sometimes how bad people can be, you know, like stalkers… some people are kind of obsessed… Even at point, there was a girl that came from very far. She wants to go out with me you know… at my parents’ house. She says where’s George? You know, I think we’re made for one another and stuff. I was like oh my god, it’s insane!” said St-Pierre.
