The animosity between the two tech moguls is no secret. Ever since talks of a tech super fight started doing the rounds, Maye Musk, the mother of billionaire Elon Musk, has been disapproving of her son’s potential fight with Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. As her son begins to train for the seemingly inevitable fight, pictures of the training sessions have gone viral on the internet. And Maye’s motherly love prevents her from clicking on the like button.

When the young entrepreneur Mario Nawfal revealed how he accidentally caused the fight between the billionaires, Maye Musk couldn’t help but take a sigh of relief, believing that the fight was canceled. Since then, the tech bros have agreed to fight at the Ultimate Fighting Championship arena (Vegas Octagon). Now, her fears are on the rise again, as pictures of her son grappling with Lex Fridman have gone viral.

And unsurprisingly, it’s not only Elon Musk’s mom who is worried.

Maye Musk’s dilemma regarding her son’s venture into combat sports

Recently, Fridman released a couple of photographs of his training with Musk. The pictures showed the two of them grappling. Fridman wrote, “I did an impromptu training session with @elonmusk for a few hours yesterday. I’m extremely impressed with his strength, power, and skill, on the feet and on the ground. It was epic. It’s really inspiring to see Elon and Mark doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage. That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely… I’m there for them, no matter what.”

Fridman was indeed awestruck by Tesla CEO’s strength and skills, both on the ground and on his feet. He further opined that Musk and Zuckerberg should have trained in martial arts instead of landing against each other inside the MMA cage. Nevertheless, the computer scientist stood in Musk’s support.

Thereafter, Musk’s mother reacted to the tweet and showed her love for her son. She wrote, “Sorry, I can’t click a like on this.” Undeniably, being a mother, she found it hard to support a venture where her son could get seriously hurt.

Elon Musk’s mother wants a different ‘fight’

UFC president Dana White previously revealed that the billionaires were serious about fighting each other. When the Tesla CEO came across the UFC president’s words on Twitter, he responded with a couple of fire emojis. However, Musk’s mother had a suggestion for the two.

She replied to her son’s tweet and suggested that Musk and Zuckerberg have a verbal fight instead of one inside the cage. Nevertheless, the talks regarding the fight’s date have been on the rise ever since it was taken up on social media. And unsurprisingly, it’s not only Mama Musk who doesn’t like the idea of a physical fight. Elon Musk’s dad doesn’t approve either.

“The thing is if this crazy fight goes ahead, if Elon beats this guy, Elon will be called a bully, being so much heavier and taller, while if he loses, the humiliation would be total. It’s a no-win situation for Elon,” said Errol Musk in a conversation with the US Sun.

It is noteworthy that Zuckerberg won two medals in his first jujitsu tournament in May. Whatever the outcome, the duel will go down the history as one of the iconic fights in the Octagon.
