‘Sorry It Had to Be One of Your Own’- Jamahal Hill Sends a Message to Israel Adesanya

Israel Adesanya hasn’t entered the UFC octagon since his middleweight title defense against Marvin Vettori at UFC 263. However, he still remains in news headlines as he uploads vlogs, predictions, and breakdown of UFC fights on his channel. He reacted to the UFC Vegas 44 fights, including the one between Jamahal Hill and Jimmy Crute on the main card.

‘Sweet Dreams’, who secured a first-round knockout win against Crute and also won the performance of the night bonus, sent a message to the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya on social media.

‘Sweet Dreams’ liked the reaction of the middleweight champion and posted a clip from his video. He wrote in the caption, “The champ @stylebender, checking out my fight from this weekend. Appreciate the respect. Sorry, it had to be one of your own Aussies.”

Even though he hasn’t entered the octagon for a while now, ‘The Last Stylebender’ keeps his fans engaged with his social media activities. However, his fans will soon see him back in action again.

Israel Adesanya: Next Title Defense

‘The Last Stylebender’ became the middleweight champion by defeating Robert Whittaker in 2019. After becoming the champion, he defended his gold strap against some of the notable fighters from the division.

However, the Nigerian native has come full circle and will soon defend his middleweight gold against Robert Whittaker in a much-anticipated rematch.

According to reports, the title rematch will take place next year in February and will headline the UFC 271 pay-per-view. However, the UFC is yet to make any official announcement of the fight, venue, and place.

In their first brush-up at UFC 243, Izzy secured a knockout win over ‘The Reaper’ in the second round of the fight. However, the latter has bounced back from the loss and is currently on a three-fight win streak.
