Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland is known not only for his fighting prowess but also for his controversial remarks outside the octagon. After defeating Abus Magomed, he sparked outrage by making misogynistic comments about women in MMA, saying, “We need to put women back in the kitchen, it only takes one man working…” These comments drew strong criticism from women who condemned Strickland’s mindset.

Sean Strickland reveals the reason behind Megan Fox’s DM

Sean Strickland recently appeared on the renowned YouTube podcast Versus Us with Eric Nicksick, where he discussed various topics related to ongoing developments in the MMA world. The conversation then shifted to the issue with Harley-Davidson supporting MGK, which eventually led to Megan Fox. When the podcast host asked Strickland about this matter, he revealed that it was not as flattering as it seemed. He said, “Megan Fox DM’d me. I was like, ‘Oh, famous level.’ Yeah, and it wasn’t that kind of DM.”

When further asked for the reason behind Megan Fox’s DM, Strickland revealed his previous tweet attacking Megan Fox’s lifestyle and how they dressed, which resulted in a traumatic experience for Megan Fox’s kids. Strickland explained, “The message was actually really kind of f*cked up, kind of f*cked up. It was more like, ‘Hey, you know what, my kids get bullied, and I get bullied online because you said they’re trans, and like, they’re not trans. They just want to dress like rock stars, ‘a and I’m just like, ‘Sorry, Megan, I’ll shut the fuck up about it.'”

Megan Fox was practically everyone’s millennial crush at one time, especially when younger fans couldn’t take their eyes off her in Transformers. But for Sean Strickland, this fandom took a different turn. He first scolded Megan Fox for having a relationship with someone like Machine Gun Kelly (MGK). Then, a month later, when their split was announced by Fox on the Alexandra Cooper podcast, Strickland couldn’t hide his joy.

Strickland even took social media, asking his fans to give him credit for “saving” Megan Fox from someone like MGK. He wrote, “Did I single-handedly save @meganfox? Wow, the lord works in a mysterious way.”
