Now, Porter has come forward with an unpopular opinion against Diaz. According to Porter, Diaz lacks experience when it comes to promoting a fight. It was Diaz’s post-weigh-in comments against ‘The Problem Child’ that made Porter believe so.

Shawn Porter didn’t like the comments of Nate Diaz

After Nate Diaz and Jake Paul completed their weigh-in, Diaz made some harsh comments about his upcoming opponent while he was on the stage. Diaz said, “No matter how the fight goes, let’s don’t forget this moth** fu**er can’t really fight.” Diaz’s comment didn’t sit well with Shawn Porter. While talking to MMA Hour’s Ariel Helwani, he said, “I respect his event, but what did he say on the stage? He said no matter how this fight goes, right? And that’s all I need to say.

He further added, “I did not like that… I think it could have been planting. It could have been him showing his true confidence, but I think more than anything, it just kind of speaks to his inexperience in terms of promoting a fight. Promoting fight saying hey you know, ‘hey no matter what happens this guy still sucks’ No.According to Porter, Diaz made a grave mistake by insulting his opponent by saying that he does not know how to fight. Nevertheless, we’ll soon know who has made a mistake once the fight gets underway. However, there is one more question that fans have been pondering.

Will Diaz return to the UFC?

As the bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz is around the corner, rumors are spreading that Diaz might return to the UFC. Diaz left the UFC after completing all his contracts. His last bout in the promotion was against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, where Diaz achieved a submission victory in the fourth round. Now, many, including Diaz’s training partner Jake Shields, believe that Diaz will come back to the UFC octagon.
