Conor McGregor has a habit of showing off his valuable possessions. He has always turned to social media in order to flaunt his money and where he spent it. Cars, houses, bars, clothes, and watches come close to summing up the list. However, his purchases do not often go well for the fans. While the former UFC double champion loves to show off his shiny stuff, fans have always criticized him. Recently, he showed off his brand-new Rolex watch. However, the fans wished for the former champion to have invested the money elsewhere.

McGregor has always appeared to be an enthusiast for luxurious wristwatches. His collection has multiple Rolex watches, which he flaunts effortlessly on social media. However, the fans do not always take it easy.

The Irish Mirror recently shared a post on their Facebook page where the ‘Mystic Man’ was showing off his €40,000 (around $48,600 USD) luxury watch. The former double champion said, “Roley matchin the logo I’m loco.”

Without a doubt, the netizens took to the comment section and expressed their thoughts. However, the public was not in total support of the ‘Notorious’. Although a few fans believed that McGregor could do whatever he wanted with his money, many others thought that he should have spent it elsewhere. The netizens criticized the purchase and asked the fighter to put himself on better behavior.

Back in 2015, the ‘Notorious’ made an appearance on the popular talk show, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’. During the talks, McGregor revealed that he believed money to be “only paper”. He indeed has a strong affection towards materialistic luxuries, but the statement shocked the public. 

The fighter said, “I mean, I’ve got to enjoy it, right? It’s only paper… I do enjoy, you know, I need to stop, maybe. I’ve been fantasizing about materialistic things, but I can’t help myself. I do enjoy them.
