Ally McCoist says Conor McGregor instead of Callum McGregor

Ally McCoist appeared with the former Celtic player, Chris Sutton, on BT Sport’s Scottish Football Extra. The presenter, Emma Dodds, questioned Ally McCoist, “Four Scotland players started every game. Can you name them?” The Ibrox hero started to answer and named the goalkeeper Craig Gordan instantly.

But, he had a brain freeze in naming the second player, as he made the hilarious blunder of naming ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor, instead of the Celtic captain and hero, Callum McGregor. He quickly realized his mistake and rectified it by saying Callum McGregor’s name.

Ally McCoist has a good sense of humor

Ally McCoist is a humorous man with an immense knowledge of his game. He has previously debated with Chris Sutton on Twitter. McCoist got a bit competitive and tried to answer with jet speed and fumbled. It is justifiable to confuse the two athletes, as they carry the same last name and the same initials.
