Chael Sonnen, the former three-time UFC title challenger, continued his thread of taking a jibe at the former two-time unified heavyweight world champion boxer Anthony Joshua.

Previously, the former UFC middleweight fighter criticized the British heavyweight boxer for his career and training several times. Last year, Sonnen even stated that Joshua was the laziest man in boxing through a tweet.

Now, Sonnen has aimed at Joshua again after the latter posted workout pictures on his official Twitter account.

He retweeted the post and wrote, “If you guys ever spray water on yourself for a photoshoot, spray the water EVENLY. Then get rid of the bottle!”

In the pictures, Joshua can be seen sweating heavily as if he just had an intense workout. However, in the second picture, the heavyweight boxer has sweat on his right pectoral, but not on the left.

Pointing at this, the former UFC fighter fired a shot at the former boxing champion. The MMA veteran Sonnen is one of the most prominent names in the sport. Although he has retired from professional fighting, Sonnen shares his wisdom through his YouTube channel.

Interestingly, Sonnen has over 979k subscribers on his channel. He talks about upcoming events, analyzes fights, and shares his brutally honest opinions on the events happening in the MMA world.

Chael Sonnen says Jake Paul should fight Nate Diaz after his failed PPV in December

As aforementioned, Sonnen is an outspoken personality and never shies away from sharing his opinion. Recently, he advised the YouTuber turned professional boxer, Jake Paul, to fight Nate Diaz next, as he did fewer pay-per-view sales on his rematch with Tyron Woodley.

Sonnen said, “Jake Paul could really use Nate Diaz right now. Having one bad night isn’t enough to go into absolute panic mode. But having a bad night in the world of pay-per-view; it’s a problem. One bad night is a problem.”

Diaz recently lost a fight against Leon Edwards. However, the Stockton slugger has one fight left on his UFC contract. But it isn’t finalized yet. Hence, he requested a release from the UFC out of frustration.

Interestingly, Paul, who wanted to fight Diaz, also supported his request. So, is this a fight in the making or just a random support tweet? Only time will tell. However, if this fight happens, it will be one of the biggest in the history of the sport.
