Now, ‘Mystic Mac’ has dropped another cryptic tweet, which could be a hint that things are happening behind the scenes and we may soon get a date for the bout.

What did Conor McGregor tweet?

Conor McGregor and his Twitter activities rarely fail in making it to the news. The Irishman has a notable online presence where he beefs with other fighters, makes outlandish claims, or promotes himself and his products. His most recent tweets said that he was working on a new lager to join the ranks of his alcohol business. In another set of tweets, he showed the pool from where he was currently residing and wished his followers a happy Easter Sunday.

In addition, he dropped a ‘Mystic Mac’ style tweet that read “Stay Ready for the date.” Many felt the fighter was hinting at a return date.

Conor McGregor is a master of self-promotion. With just five simple words, he had aroused the curiosity of fans and now has them discussing his return. However, this is not the only cryptic tweet he dropped this weekend. He managed to shift some of the spotlights from the UFC 287 main event onto himself with another ambiguous tweet.

The UFC 287 main event was the stage for the second UFC meeting between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. In a stunning display of elite-level striking, Adesanya finally conquered his demons when he knocked out Pereira. This fight was also a quadrilogy as this was the fourth combat fight between the pair.

After the fight, McGregor made another simple yet cryptic tweet that could have multiple meanings. He wrote, “Quadrilogy’s are fun.” Some fans thought this was a hint at a fourth fight against his rival Dustin Poirier.

Just like that, McGregor had the attention of the fans about his own potential quadrilogy. Now, he has them buzzing again about his return.
