The veteran striker dominated on the feet until Holland’s corner called the fight off after round four. The former title challenger found his rhythm and kept dancing until Holland’s corner called it off.

Both Thompson and Holland came into the fight with only two wins in their last five outings. While Holland lost to Khamzat Chimaev in his last fight, Thompson lost two grapple-heavy bouts to Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad.

Fans react to Thompson vs. Holland at UFC Orlando

Stephen Thompson and Kevin Holland put on an epic striking battle in their UFC Orlando main event. ‘Wonderboy’ took over from the second round and put on a clinic. Both fighters willingly kept the fight on their feet and gave the fans an epic night to remember.

However, Holland injured his hand later in the fight. This compromised him against Thompson, who kept sniping him from within the range. ‘Trailblazer’s corner called it off at the end of the fourth round in favor of their fighter’s well-being.
