Poatan’ dared Adesanya to get on inside the octagon for a third fight to show his fans and end the debate regarding the better fighter between the two. Pereira is razor-focused on settling the score in their trilogy bout. But he believes that Israel Adesanya is scared to fight him again.

Alex Pereira claims Adesanya is taking advantage of his situation

Alex Pereira recently posted a video on his YouTube channel addressing the questions regarding the reigning champion’s social media antics. Many people were talking about the fact that Adesanya could be promoting a third fight. But Pereira doesn’t buy that. He said, “I think it is not promoting.” ‘Poatan’ added, “I think he wants to take advantage of this moment.

Pereira and the UFC President Dana White are both ready to book the trilogy fight. ‘Poatan’ claims that Adesanya‘s opinion won’t matter if the promotion is willing to go ahead with the fight. He said, “I’m seeing people talking in the comments that there could be a third fight and he [Adesanya] is provoking too much. And I like that idea.”

Pereira added, “If I have interest and the UFC certainly has interest, right? I don’t know if Adesanya has this interest. But If I want and the UFC wants – it’s already two points there.”

‘Poatan’ recalled what Adesanya had said earlier about the third fight. ‘Izzy’ claimed that ‘Poatan’ had to do something big before he got another chance to fight for the title. And this is why the Brazilian believes that Adesanya doesn’t want to fight him. “I think he just wants to provoke me,” said the former champion.
