Jon Jones has made his decision. The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is looking to fight the former champ Stipe Miocic and none else. The clash between the two heavyweights should have happened at the UFC 295 last year but a sudden injury on the part of Jones stopped him from competing and he has been away from the Octagon since then. However, the champ seems to be well now and the probability of him fighting in the Octagon is at its all-time high but it seems like ‘Bones’ has an analogy of Miocic.

Jones took to his social media to add a statement about his training. He wrote, “I’m not a historian of war or anything, but I have learned a thing or two in my day. A big part of combat strategy is timing, and deception. To make a long story short, if your opponent appears weak, prepare even harder. Complacency is the greatest enemy to a fighter like myself.”

Jones’s fear is palpable considering the fact that despite his age, Miocic has one of the best records as a heavyweight in the entire division. Jones’s worries and Miocic weakness were taken cognizance by the MMA fans who gave their honest opinion on the situation.

Fans react to Jon Jones giving his opinion on Stipe Miocic’s training

Jon Jones is probably one of the most technical fighters in the history of the sport and his fight IQ is just off the charts. A fan believes that ‘Bones’s assessment still holds some weight considering the fact that his past opponents were all exceptional fighters.

Idk you can hate on jones but he knows his stuff about fighting  like im not gonna disagree with him on this, don’t write him off against aspinall either because Jon’s fought the best of the best for a long time and toms never fought a guy as good as bones.

The video showcased a weak Miocic throwing jabs at the pads but it looked weak and slow. Jones believes that it’s just a gimmick, but who knows? A fan added that if Miocic sleeps Jones then it would be a shock.

“man if stipe sleeps jon i’ll be so distraught”

Furthermore, a fan wants Jones to fight someone other than Miocic. Who might that be, you ask? It’s Tom Aspinall.

“Man I really hope somehow Stipe is unable to fight to see Jones fighting against someone who is not old”

Moreover, a fan wants Miocic to be fake for now and come back with a banger when fighting Jones.

“I wish he would “

“Stay retired stipe we don’t care”
