UFC superstar Nate Diaz has been looking for an opponent for his last contractual UFC bout for months. Conor McGregor is one marquee name that could entice Diaz to the octagon. As ‘The Notorious’ found himself in a rather unwanted spot, the Stockton native took to his social platform and bashed his bitter rival.
The ‘209’ representative tweeted about a potential trilogy bout, “I’ll fight Conor’s dumb a*** right now.”

In addition, Diaz also pointed out McGregor‘s recent controversy and used that as an example to send advice to fellow UFC fighters.
He tweeted, “Ps All u @ufc fighters need to stop gettin arrested for stupid sh** ur acting like animals irresponsible lil kids get ur sh** together Drive safe please and act right F****k.”

Earlier, reports came out of the Irish superstars getting into trouble. Further, another of Diaz’s former foes, Jorge Masvidal, also found himself in an adverse situation.

It is interesting to note that despite dismissing the fight earlier and wanting to fight Dustin Poirier; Diaz has called for a bout against the Irishman. Also, UFC President Dana White has already hinted that a showdown between these two superstars is a possibility for 2022.

However, Diaz is aware of McGregor’s injury, thus the fans should not get too excited about the call-out.

Nate Diaz has competed at both lightweight and welterweight. Likewise, Conor McGregor has stepped inside the octagon in multiple weight categories. However, Diaz doesn’t seem to cut to 155 anymore, as his last five outings have been at 170.
Even ‘The Notorious’ stated that he is unsure of the weight category he will fight at upon his comeback.

However, in a recent interview, ‘Mystic Mac’ called out UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and offered that some of his best performances inside the octagon came at 170 lbs. Notably in the Nate Diaz 2 and Donald Cerrone bouts.
