Lauren Murphy was always on the back foot from the start of the match. ‘Bate Estaca’ reigned supreme right from round one. Murphy couldn’t face the relentless pressure thrown at her by the Brazilian. The most striking aspect was the accuracy of the strikes and takedown defences by Andrade. Also, Andrade defeated Murphy dominantly by winning multiple rounds by more than a 10-9 margin.

Moreover, Murphy never got going and lost one-sided. In the post-match interview in the octagon, Andrade also said that she was disappointed not to get a finish or a submission.

The fans went absolutely crazy as another fight at UFC 283 ended with a finish. Jessica Andrade emerged victorious with a judge also scoring the contest 30-25.
