What’s Next for Alexander Volkanovski

Alexander Volkanovski is undoubtedly one of the most elite fighters in the featherweight division of the UFC. He got his hands on the featherweight title at UFC 245, and now has two successful title defenses to his name.

With his latest win over Ortega, ‘The Great’ will look for a viable prospect to further his mind-boggling win streak. His fights against Max Holloway were extremely close. Therefore, even though ‘The Great’ defeated Holloway in their past two clashes, people believe the wins were controversial, especially their most recent showdown.

Hence, a trilogy bout will give ‘The Great’ a chance to put an end to all the controversy once and for all. Perhaps that is why, in his recent interviews, Volkanovski has shown an interest in fighting Holloway for the third time.
