Taking a dig at him, McGregor wrote, “An absolute pigeon brain this guy is. Stupid beyond belief.”

Masvidal wasn’t going to keep quiet. He tweeted, “This pea brain is the biggest fight of your life. So you’re either too scared or too stupid to get this check.”

‘The Notorious’ is looking for a comeback. He has shown interest in the welterweight division and wants to fight for the title. Considering his bulky physique, a move to the heavier weight class might be a good idea.

As both men want to fight, it seems like it would be a win-win situation for all (the UFC, the fighters, and the fans).

Masvidal is currently coming off three losses. He lost twice against welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and once against Covington. On the other hand, McGregor is coming off two losses against Dustin Poirier. As a result, Masvidal versus McGregor might be a good fight to make.
