As per Chamatkar Sandhu, Conor McGregor took a dig at Masvidal’s comment on Colby Covington. ‘Gamebred’ had said, “I am not going to let anyone disrespect my family.”

Taking a dig at him, McGregor wrote, “An absolute pigeon brain this guy is. Stupid beyond belief.”
Masvidal wasn’t going to keep quiet. He tweeted, “This pea brain is the biggest fight of your life. So you’re either too scared or too stupid to get this check.”

‘The Notorious’ is looking for a comeback. He has shown interest in the welterweight division and wants to fight for the title. Considering his bulky physique, a move to the heavier weight class might be a good idea.

Like McGregor, Jorge Masvidal is also coming off recent fight losses. Thus, a fight between McGregor and ‘Gamebred’ would be a great matchup. In addition to this, as both are huge names in the UFC, their fight would surely sell a ton of PPVs.
As both men want to fight, it seems like it would be a win-win situation for all (the UFC, the fighters, and the fans).
Jorge Masvidal versus Conor McGregor: Is it a good fight for either of them?
Both the fighters are facing a rough patch in their career. While both aspire to fight for the title, they might need to prove their skills as challenging contenders.

Masvidal is currently coming off three losses. He lost twice against welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and once against Covington. On the other hand, McGregor is coming off two losses against Dustin Poirier. As a result, Masvidal versus McGregor might be a good fight to make.
