“Success Came Knocking at Jake’s Front Door”- Jon Jones Says Jake Hager Has Disagreed to Fight Him in a Deleted Tweet

Jon Jones is inarguably one of the greatest fighters of all time. Regardless of all the controversial times he’s had outside the octagon, he is still a legendary fight inside the cage. ‘Bones’ has destroyed every opponent that he has faced in the octagon. As of November 2021, Jones is ranked sixth in the UFC men’s pound for pound category.
After his recent controversy in Vegas, many fans were wondering about when they’ll see Jones back in action. Recently, Jones took to his Twitter to announce to his fans that he will return to action next month, but not the way they saw him last. This time, in a heavyweight wrestling match.
‘Bones’ announced that he would be competing in a grappling match for Fury Grappling against Jake Hager. Jake Hager is a WWE superstar who also goes by the name of Jack Swagger. He is also an undefeated Bellator heavyweight.

However, following that tweet, Jake Hager also took to his Twitter to announce to fans that the fight was not really confirmed yet. The WWE superstar claimed that no terms for the bout have been discussed, neither have they have signed a contract for the fight. So it looks like Jones got out of his seat too quickly, and announced the fight without it being agreed.
Seems like he is really desperate to get back to action, but his opponent isn’t rocking with him. Jones didn’t seem very happy about the fact that the Bellator heavyweight wasn’t on the same page as he was about their bout. He expressed his views on his Twitter, but then deleted the tweet.
Based on the comments we received from Jones and Jake Hager, it appears like their fight has been canceled. So, unfortunately, anyone hoping to see Jon Jones return to action will have to wait a little longer.
