The UFC world is desperate for the comeback of UFC superstar Conor McGregor. However, they faced tremendous disappointment when the Irishman didn’t meet the deadline to enter the USADA testing pool. He should have joined the testing pool at least six months before his fight, and McGregor failed to meet the demands. The UFC superstar came back to the world of MMA as a coach in the 31st season of the reality series ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ As per the decision of the UFC, McGregor and his rival coach, Michael Chandler, would square off in the UFC octagon at the end of the season.

Fans were highly thrilled for the bout to materialize. However, when McGregor failed to re-enter the USADA testing pool, they became completely hopeless. Even the UFC president, Dana White, began to give an ambiguous response regarding the fight. Nonetheless, McGregor’s rival, Chandler, is confident about his comeback. ‘Iron’ believes that ‘The Notorious’ won’t take things to this extent if he doesn’t intend to come back to fighting.

Michael Chandler is confident about Conor McGregor’s return

Chandler and retired UFC legend Daniel Cormier were talking in an interview uploaded on his YouTube channel. During the conversation, Chandler was confident about the fight coming to fruition. He said, “I think Conor’s coming back. I don’t think he wants to sustain his legacy by leading us all down this road of ‘I’m doing The Ultimate Fighter. I’m fighting Michael Chandler. Oh, by the way, never mind, I’m not coming back. Make sure you buy my Irish whiskey and all that kind of stuff’.”

Talking further on McGregor’s return, ‘Iron’ added, “He is coming back. Supposedly there was a countdown when you started six months and all that other stuff that’s not for me to choose or decide. Has there been exemptions before? People are talking about exemptions, of course. That’s all on the table. All I know is I’m controlling the controllables and also know that either way I’m going to keep on moving forward and do believe I fight Conor within the next six months and it’s going to be one of the biggest pay-per-views that we have ever seen and I’m gonna go out there and knock out him within the first two rounds. From the words of the former three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion, it is clear that he believes that the Irishman will find a way to fight him in the next six months.
