Over the years, Joe Rogan has grown into a global celebrity from his various career ventures. Following his success as a commentator and podcast host, Rogan opened his own comedy club earlier this year. Named ‘Comedy Mothership’ Rogan’s establishment is widely considered an anti-woke haven for stand-up comics to perform their material. However, Rogan was not different from anyone else in having to face his own set of naysayers while trying to proceed with his new venture. Therefore, the 55-year-old had the perfect response for his doubters after the success of his establishment.
In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan hosted fellow stand-up comic Dave Smith. The pair discussed the comedy club and Smith gave Rogan his share of commendation for successfully establishing the enterprise. Talking about the club, Rogan recalled having to deal with naysayers and how he had to get it right to make it work.

Rogan also mentioned how he had new ideas that meant he had to change things up at times. He said he had one chance, and he had to do it right. Therefore, with the changes in constructions with changing ideas, it took him a long time to get ‘Comedy Mothership’ ready to fly.
The BJJ black belt also had to deal with naysayers that did not believe he would follow through on the promise. Rogan said, “There was a lot of people saying ‘You’re not opening a club. It’s bullsh*t. It’s all bullsh*t.'”

He continued, “They just didn’t… I knew once it got like.. Talk all that sh*t ’cause once this thing gets open, You’re all gonna wanna come. And the ones who can’t, a lot of FOMO.”
Rogan seems to have got the last laugh as Comedy Mothership was an instant success with tickets selling out as soon as they were up.
