Teary-Eyed Aleksandar Rakic Makes an Eye-Opening Revelation After Brutal Knee Injury in UFC Fight

Aleksandar Rakic has had a meteoric rise in the UFC. Many fans consider Rakic to be the future of the UFC Light Heavyweight division. However, in his fight against Jan Blachowicz, ‘Rocket’ did not have a night to remember.
In round 2, Rakic suffered an injury in the fight and hence, Blachowicz was declared the winner. Recently, Rakic shed light on the injury he suffered in the fight.

In a video uploaded by ESPN MMA, fans can see Rakic in tears as he walks back to the locker room. In the video, Rakic can be seen apologizing to his coaches whereas they console him.
The fighter also spoke about his injury. He said, “It happens, you know, what can I do? God had other plans with me tonight. My knee popped, my right knee.”
‘Rocket’ further added, “This knee I injured three weeks ago on a training, in a sparring. It happened. You know it’s not a lie, it happened…The knee wasn’t 100 percent. I thought it was.”

While the outcome might have disheartened Rakic, the light heavyweight did not show any quit. He further mentioned how he plans on reaching the pinnacle of the sport.
