UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has fired on all cylinders and continued going after the former light heavyweight champion. ‘The Last Stylebender’ is under mandatory quarantine after returning from his bout on Fight Island at UFC 253. Chiefly, Adesanya has made it his mission to troll Jon Jones on social media, given their heated feud.

The aforementioned championship fighters have no love lost for each other, and their bad blood reflects that. Both fighters have been throwing verbal barbs at the other, and a super fight between the two is almost a foregone conclusion at this point. Their beef escalated as the athletes got personal and involving families.

Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones: War of words

The city-kickboxing star in Israel Adesanya has made it his life’s goal to use the quarantine to go after Jones. Israel was quick to drop a comment on a seemingly harmless post made by a fan on Jones’ Twitter. Also, it appears no matter what ‘Bones’ Jones says, Adesanya is ready to pop in a jab.

Jon Jones isn’t one to shy away from a firefight, be it verbal or physical, and he continued going back and forth on Twitter. Both fighters have claimed that the other is jealous of the success they have garnered from fans and media.

Jon Jones has recently moved up to heavyweight after relinquishing the 205-pound title that he’s long held. ‘Izzy’ is now two weight classes apart, and the consensus is that they will meet in the middle. Although no concrete timeline has been set, Israel Adesanya has called to fight Jon in 2021.

As it stands, both fighters have plenty of opportunities in their respective weight divisions. The middleweight division is a murderers’ row of game contenders pining for a shot at gold. Not to mention, a heavyweight title shot is a definite possibility should ‘Bones’ push for it. Fight fans will lay in anticipation to watch how the feud will continue to develop.
