Laura Sanko is a UFC analyst and reporter who works with ESPN. She is famous for commentating on Dana White’s Contender Series. Recently, she shared a before and after picture of her makeup transformation after sustaining an injury.

Sanko took to Instagram to share her before and after pictures. On the left side of the picture, we can see Sanko with deep blood clots near her eyes. According to Sanko, she “had an extra chippy sparring round with one of the smaller guys at the gym and got cracked.”

On the right side of the picture, we see Sanko the very next day with no visible signs of a bruise or a blood clot.

She thanked makeup artist Chris Giraldo for this transformation in her caption. She praised Giraldo saying, “I knew she would save me but even I was blown away!!! The bruise coloring was very deep and she took her time and made it literally disappear! She truly is an artist in every sense of the word.”

The Early Career of Laura Sanko and Her Transition

Laura Sanko transitioned from being a fighter to an analyst. She first fell in love with martial arts at the early age of five.

She took martial arts seriously only after college. Her success in the gym and growth as a fighter were primary catalysts in making her fight professionally. She fought in the women’s division for Invicta FC. She beat Cassie Robb in her first fight via a rear-naked choke.

It was after this fight that she transitioned into reporting. She first worked with Invicta FC. She went viral after her interview with Tonya Avenger, in which the two kissed. This clip alerted the UFC, and she has worked with the company ever since.
