The UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is one of the most electrifying fighters in MMA. His swanky moves and powerful skills have landed him third on the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Adesanya is one of the most loved fighters in the UFC. Fans love him for his sense of humor, which he maintains inside the octagon as well. He is also very interactive with his fan base and has a huge presence on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.

Recently, the middleweight king took to Twitter to share a somewhat sad message with his fans. He wrote a death wish for himself and put it out for his followers to see. Adesanya wrote, “when I die one day, I don’t want no new followers. Thanks for the flowers.”

The fighter’s fans were very supportive of the fighter when he put the message out and they praised him in the comments section of the post.

‘The Last Stylebender’ currently has the second-longest win streak in the UFC’s middleweight division. ‘Izzy’ has been undefeated at 185 pounds and has had four successful title defenses. He will defend his title against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 on the 2nd of July, 2022 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Israel Adesanya talks about his moment of truth

In a recent clip that the UFC uploaded, the middleweight champion Israel Adesanya looks back at his memorable moments in his career. In the video, Adesanya spoke about a moment he had that changed his mindset for the rest of his career.

Adesanya explained that he went to Times Square, New York, for a photoshoot of his brand, where it was crowded. He said that some people recognized who he was and a lot of other people did not. This really changed his mindset. Adesanya said, “I remember just having like this déjà vu moment like and you see people like who you know don’t know who I am, but just like, I want some of that clout.”

He added, “so that was a learning moment for me. To understand the power of fame and how it can dilute people and how it can kind of skew people.”
