In the JRE MMA Show #141, Joe Rogan sat down with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship icon Mike Perry. The duo spoke on a plethora of topics – including Russian ‘dudes’ fighting in football fields. But Rogan’s shocking reaction to Walker’s epic KO at UFC 283 stood out the most.

“Johnny Walker is an interesting guy. That dude has crazy power,” Rogan exclaimed, emphasizing his astonishment. The UFC commentator further added, “He[Walker] generates power in some crazy ways…”

As the dialogue continued, the focus shifted briefly to another talented fighter, Jamahal Hill. Rogan praised Hill’s exceptional timing and strength, highlighting his noteworthy bout against Glover Teixeira. Rogan marveled at Hill’s growth, saying, “…when he hits that championship level, where they’re just coming in on their own and then they start to really shine…and that’s where he’s at.”

Perry chimed in, stressing the importance of maintaining composure and employing a solid top game when grappling with opponents like Paul Craig. Rogan quickly drew a parallel to Walker’s victory over Craig.

“Well, that’s what Johnny Walker did – to Paul Craig…” Rogan explained. Breaking down Walker’s excellent presence of mind, a startled Rogan stated, “…so he[Craig] like grabs his leg and look at that, he’s[Walker] KOing him while he’s holding his leg up in the air. I mean that is nuts! That kind of power is nuts!” 

Rogan’s disbelief and enthusiasm further attest to the jaw-dropping display of power demonstrated by Johnny Walker, a formidable force in the Light Heavyweight division.
