“That Man Could Move Mountains”- Jon Jones Speaks Out on Conor McGregor’s UFC Return

Conor McGregor is unquestionably one of the most exciting fighters that the world has ever seen. The former two-division champion was considered one of the best in the world during his prime days. McGregor definitely put his country on the map, when he became the first Irish-born champion in the UFC. He currently stands ninth in the UFC’s lightweight division rankings.

‘Notorious’ has had the most consecutive performance of the night awards in the history of the promotion. Throughout his illustrious career, the Irishman has beaten many great fighters, such as Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz, and Max Holloway. As of December 2021, McGregor’s professional fight record stands at 22 wins and 6 losses.

Conor’s last fight was his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, which he lost at the end of the first round via Doctor’s stoppage. He broke his leg and was made to withdraw from the fight due to this. McGregor suffered a broken tibia and has been taking time away from the cage to heal himself. 

Recently the UFC light heavyweight icon, Jon Jones took to Twitter to praise Conor McGregor. 

Jones stated,” with the right team of people, absolutely, you can never count out someone like him. With all of his energy in the right place, that man could move mountains, he’s a closer.” There is no doubt about what Jones said. McGregor has always been a great fighter and has shocked us with outstanding performances.

 What is Conor McGregor up to post his leg injury?

McGregor has been posting many videos of his training and seems to be in great shape. In fact, he had also told fans that he would be able to fight again next year and that he feels stronger than ever.

In recent posts, we can see that ‘Notorious’ is confident about his return next year. For now, he’s putting in the work and has been training at the gym.

Apart from training in the gym, McGregor is enjoying his millionaire lifestyle to the fullest. He has been traveling around the world and having night-outs at expensive venues. Recently, the Irishman took to Twitter and told his fans that he just bought himself a new Ferrari.
