“I will fight Whittaker eventually, then I’ll get revenge for everybody,” roared Khamzat Chimaev after Robert Whittaker brutally knocked out Ikram Aliskerov at UFC Saudi Arabia to get back to the middleweight title picture. It was originally Chimaev, who was supposed to face ‘The Reaper’ but ‘Borz’ had to pull out of the match due to illness. Regardless, months have passed since that incident and both the fighters are again going to throw hands at each other on UFC 308.

Claimed to be one of the best wrestlers in the world, Khamzat Chimaev is undefeated in his MMA career and has a record of 18 victories and 0 defeats. Interestingly, ‘Borz’ was one of the most loved fighters when he initially joined the promotion as he defeated two world-class fighters within a matter of weeks but the situation has been completely overturned for the fighter. His recent interaction with a fan witnessed a crass sarcastic flurry of comments from the MMA community.

In his most recent outing, Khamzzat Chimaev met Belgian MMA fighter Idriss Altidor in one event. Altidor then asked Chimaev to shoot his best shot at him. ‘Borz’ initially hesitated a bit but threw a respectful punch at Altidor’s stomach. The punch pushed the Belgian fighter way back but according to the MMA community, it hurt Chimaev as well.

Well, this is not the first time when Chimaev was called out by the fans as a few days back the former fighter, Luke Rockhold tried to test his mettle against ‘Borz’.
