UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya suffered his first loss in MMA at UFC 259 against Jan Blachowicz. Adesanya was looking to create history by becoming one of the very few men to achieve the simultaneous double champ status of the UFC. However, despite his loss, Adesanya is not one to shy away from adversity.
Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones enjoyed the fact that ‘Stylebender’ couldn’t become triumphant. ‘Bones’ was very active on social media, pointing out Adesanya’s loss. That didn’t escape Izzy’s attention, and he had some assessments of the situation. He believes the mocks from Jones shows his true character.

Find the tweet of me going at him and then taking a victory lap. This shows the character of who we are. This shows the character of what kind of people we are,” said Adesanya.
“Wait till he loses. He thinks uh time will tell, that all I am gonna say.”
