“That Was Never His Mission” – Michael Bisping Reveals the Truth Behind Jake Paul and PFL’s 50–50 Deal

Jake Paul and his deal to split the revenue in half with the Professional Fighters League has touched every single mind in the universe of combat sports. Although the YouTuber turned professional boxer intended the act to be for the welfare of martial artists around the world, Michael Bisping does not feel that that’s the case. He took to his talk show, ‘Bisping Reacts’ and revealed all that he thinks about Paul’s deal with the PFL.
The deal Paul made with the PFL termed that any fighter competing in the Super Fight division would receive a 50% equity from the card they fought on. However, Bisping revealed some hidden truths about the deal.

Michael Bisping asks Jake Paul to stop acting
In the recent episode of ‘Bisping Reacts’, the ‘Count’ revealed that Paul’s deal with PFL was an act of selfishness. He claimed that his mission didn’t align with the fighters. He said, “And remember Jake Paul was talking about fighters unions and all the rest of it and wanting, wanting Dana to give up more money to the fighters. And of course, I support all fighters making as much money as possible. But that was never his mission, you know. That was just bulls**t. And that now he signed with the PFL. Some of the PFL in the super league, right? Where the revenue is gonna get split 50-50. But not for the average guys in PFL.”

However, the retired fighter didn’t attack PFL. His sole target was ‘The Problem Child’. “He’s doing the super league and only those people in the super league are gonna get or be privy to the 50% revenue share”, said Bisping.
Finally, he asked Paul to stop his act.
The ‘Count’ claimed that the boxer was only looking out for himself and trying to get ahead in life. Furthermore, he admitted that it’s something everyone does and that it was okay. However, Paul’s act of being the savior became the tick for Bisping’s outburst.

He said, “But stop making out that you are the life savior, the spearhead in this movement for fighters. You’re just trying to get ahead in life and that’s fine. But it’s the fact that you make out that you are, oooh, you’re looking out for the fighters… stop with the act. Stop with the charade.”
Chael Sonnen rounded up the problems with the 50-50 deal

Bisping was not the only personality who questioned the deal. The former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen, also talked about the issues with Paul’s deal. He revealed that the problem would begin when the red corner and the blue corner would get equal money.
Sonnen believed that it would simply create some hard feelings. He claimed that the 50-50 split of revenue was not a fair trade at all. Furthermore, many other personalities have chimed in to opine about the Super League.
