In spite of this, Musk returned to the UFC color commentator-hosted show in 2020. However, during their second exchange on the show, Rogan and Musk didn’t repeat their acts.

As the Tesla CEO was informed by Rogan that marijuana use is prohibited in Texas, where the 54-year-old MMA fanatic recently moved. The UFC commentator did, however, clarify that CBD was at least permitted in Texas.

To which Musk countered by adding that he believed CBD to be “fake.” “CBD doesn’t do anything. Does it?” Musk said.

However, Musk’s words didn’t sit well with Rogan, who is a vocal cannabis advocate. The latter has even previously admitted CBD to be one of the best things. Therefore, he schooled the tech geek with some cannabis knowledge.

“Yeah, physically, you don’t have to have a lot. Physically, CBD works great for people with arthritis and people with sore muscles, and things like that. Yeah, no, CBD definitely works for that, but as far as like psychoactive effects, not much. It relieves anxiety for people,” Rogan said.

“It helps people sleep, especially when it’s combined with things like melatonin, you know, things along those lines. But it doesn’t get you high. People do mix CBD with THC for muscle creams though, and that doesn’t get you high either, but it increases the effectiveness,” Rogan added.

Further on, when Musk told weed product makes people smell all day, Rogan denied it. No, no—some of it does, though. That’s the thing about anything that’s unregulated, right? Like hippies making it, that’s always the problem,” Rogan countered

After the founder of SpaceX pulled out of the deal to purchase the social media site, Twitter recently filed a lawsuit against him. Musk backtracked on the agreement due to his suspicions regarding Twitter’s bogus accounts.

However, Rogan still believes the Tesla founder will buy Twitter. Also, the trail is just a way to find out about the Twitter bot accounts, per the 54-year-old.
