Paddy Pimblett is stuck in a lot of muck after Ariel Helwani exposed him. Ariel Helwani accused Pimblett and his manager of asking for money for an interview. The Montreal-based MMA journalist put some solid pieces of evidence on the table to back his claims, and Pimblett could not clear the air from his side.

Youtuber, The True Geordie, has now come forward with fresh accusations against the fighter and his manager. True Geordie said that he was asked for money to get Pimblett‘s interview. The controversy has been going on since Pimblett took a dig at Helwani, calling him a “rodent” while talking to Dana White. He also mocked Ariel Helwani in an Octagon interview with Joe Rogan.

Ariel Helwani has been in the business for almost 15 years now and commands a solid following and credibility. He had earlier presented audio clips from Pat McAfee’s show to refute claims that he had talked wrong about Pimblett.

He also thanked his friend ‘No Context Ariel Helwani’ for providing him with the clip. True Geordie coming out with his claims may have further PR repercussions for Paddy Pimblett.

True Geordie slams Paddy Pimblett and his manager

Talking to ‘No Context’, True Geordie was very upfront in his admission that Pimblett‘s manager asked him for money for an interview with Pimblett. Geordie said, “The manager of the paddy, Graham, incredibly short-sighted, what they have tried to do now is they have gone, no, we were not asking Ariel for money, we were asking if he could ask BT for money”.

Although True Geordie has once interviewed Paddy Pimblett on his show, He had no qualms in revealing that Pimblett‘s manager had asked him for money for the interview. He further added, “ I am like I asked for an interview from you at the same time. I am not working for BT and you asked me for money as well. So that’s bulls**t, that’s flat bulls**t”

Pimblett and White had targeted Ariel Helwani

Paddy Pimblett defeated Jared Gordon at UFC 282. Before the fight, Pimblett had invited UFC president Dana White to his podcast. Dana White is also not on exactly cordial terms with Ariel Helwani. It is speculated that he had tried to remove him from ESPN. The duo had made derogatory comments about Helwani‘s professionalism. They said that they have fired him from “every good job he has ever had“.
