Dana White’s Power Slap went through a lot of controversies before its first season aired. From White’s own New Year’s Eve controversy to Athletic Commissions questioning athlete safety, Power Slap had to cross a lot of hurdles to reach televisions. White’s persistence finally saw results as he was able to bring the show to the fans. Despite many fight fans bashing the show, White stood his ground and claims it found success.

Notwithstanding the controversies, fans seem to be having fun watching people get slapped into oblivion. One such clip surfaced on social media recently and fans are having a field day with a competitor’s reaction to getting slapped.

Power Slap’s official Instagram page shared a clip from a match between Duane Crespo Jr. and Cody Allen Cox. In the clip, we see ‘Iron Giant’ land a thunderous slap on Cox. Cox flinches in the seconds before the slap lands and the referee called foul as soon as the slap was delivered. What happened next made Cox the butt of several jokes in the comment section under the post.

Fans troll competitor’s reaction to a foul call in Power Slap

The Power Slap match between Cody Allen Cox and Duane Crespo Jr. delivered a memorable moment. The referee called a foul for flinching against Cox right after he took a powerful slap to the face from his opponent.

Soon after the foul call, Cox took a few steps back before eventually falling to the floor while the Head Catchers helped ease his fall. While Cox may have been dazed from the hit fans believe it was the foul call that did the trick. They trolled Cox saying he did not want a repeat of the slap and hence went to the ground.
