UFC 275 is an overseas pay-per-view event that will take place in Singapore. It is the first-ever pay-per-view in Singapore which will take place inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang on June 12, 2022. To delight fans, the UFC put together a stellar card. However, one bout met the scrapheap just hours before the big day.

UFC flyweights (Rogerio Bontorin and Manel Kape) were set to clash against each other inside the octagon. However, the fight has been called off after Bontorin faced health issues due to the weight cut.
According to the reports made by MMA Junkie, the Brazilian-born UFC fighter was rushed to the hospital after he suffered kidney issues because of the weight cut.

Bontorin, on a two-fight skid, had the perfect opportunity to snap his opponent’s two-fight win streak and return to winning ways.
Although UFC 275 has two title fights (Valentina Shevchenko vs Taila Santos; Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka), the cancelation of one main card bout has disturbed the card’s flow and UFC fans aren’t happy about it.

UFC 275 just lost a bout from its main card as Brazilian fighter Bontorin was hospitalized due to weight cut issues. However, fight fans were not happy and even accused the Brazilian of ruining the card.

Another fan suggested the Brazilian fighter move up a division. He wrote, “Bontorin must be made to move up to a new weight class.”
