The ‘John Wick’ series starring Keanu Reeves is one of the most popular franchises in Hollywood. John Wick is a former hitman who retired from his profession after falling in love and getting married. However, after his wife passes away, he is pulled back into the world of organized crime when a gangster’s son steals his car and kills his dog, which was a gift from his late wife. Wick seeks revenge and goes on a killing spree against the Russian mafia. The movie has had 4 parts till now with the recent edition being released on the 24th of March earlier this year.

Joe Rogan however, has a different take on the action hero. In episode 1939 of his popular podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ he was talking to hip-hop artist B-Real. Joe Rogan talked about the hyper-violent movies that were out there and mentioned John Wick. He felt the movie makes no sense.

Joe Rogan does not like John Wick’s Violence

Talking to hip-hop artist B-Real Joe Rogan discussed some interesting facts about the storyline. He, however, didn’t look convinced that the storyline needed to include so much violence. Rogan said, This guy’s body count is crazy the movie makes the least amount of sense he’s the nice guy serial killer assassin who can’t be stopped”.

John Wick Chapter 4 does huge numbers

The movie revolves around the character who is a former Underworld enforcer being dragged back to the murky world when the gangsters steal his car and kill his dog. The car and the dog were gifts from her beloved wife who has died because of cancer. His wife was the reason for him to leave the underworld and now the character seeks revenge from the mafia and the story unfolds. The movie is known for fast hand-to-hand combat sequences and gun fights. The latest movie has grossed $251.8 million at the box office.
