Nate Diaz has a cult following in the MMA community. His popularity is so big that even one of the best rappers, Eminem, is a fan of the Stockton native. Recently, TMZ spotted him and asked what he feels about Eminem releasing a song where the lyrics feature his name.

Diaz said, “That’s the goat with the goat, home goat sound, you know what I’m saying. I loved it, I love it.”

When asked if Eminem reached out to him for the song. He replied, “Hey, it’s cool that he’s even, I grew up, wishing I could meet Eminem since I was a little kid. That’s, that’s, my favorite rapper, probably one of my favorite rappers of all time.”

“Aye, you’re the man, you already know,” Diaz left a small message for his Idol.

Eminem’s and Dr. Dre’s track Gospel, mentions Nate Diaz, and it has the lyrics, “…Nate Diaz got the world by the tracheas in a chokehold and a sleeper *snores*…”

The Stockton native has only one fight left on his UFC contract. Hence, he wants to settle an old beef, against Dustin Poirier. Earlier, the UFC booked these two to fight at UFC 230. However, the fight got scrapped. Both of these fighters blame each other for the cancellation of the bout.

In the same interview with TMZ, Diaz said that he still wants to fight ‘The Diamond’. He said, “I want the fight now, what’s up Dana White, let’s get this retirement fight cracking, so I can get out of this fight game, I’m done with it.”
