An athlete and his/her recovery is an important element of their career. And for a fighter, the process seems to be especially more significant owing to the various injuries they usually are exposed to. So it’s not surprising when fighters take time off from a rigorous training regimen to rest and let their body recover.

During recovery, one popular type of therapy that many athletes prefer is cupping. Sports personalities have often observed and practiced this process, all over, which involves suction cups to facilitate healing. In the UFC too, former double champ Conor McGregor is someone who was very recently seen with cupping marks on his body.

Now, in an Instagram post recently made by another UFC athlete, he shared the results of his cupping session, which evidently left fans horrified. The clip, which looked like a scene out of a horror movie, showed a huge amount of blood drawn out of the fighter’s shoulder. Fans and even UFC fighters Molly McCann and former fighter Dan Hardy were left dumbfounded at the clip.
