Aside from his work as a UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan has worked in a variety of fields. Rogan used to be an actor, which exposed him to a very different side of the celebrity world. Because of the enormous amount of attention actors and celebrities receive, the public scrutinizes them when their opinions differ from public opinion.

One such celebrity is Miley Cyrus, who has been embroiled in numerous controversies throughout her career as a singer and actor. Cyrus told Joe Rogan how she has survived life with the help of her supportive friends and family in an episode of his podcast show.

Riley was telling Rogan about how sometimes life gets very overwhelming for her, but she pulls herself out of that headspace.

In a heart-to-heart conversation with Rogan, Miley Cyrus said, ” I didn’t hurt myself beyond repair. In my experiences, I survived. And I don’t even mean heart still beating survival. I mean, I have a lot of people that love me around and I didn’t kick all the people that had my best interest at heart out. That’s where you die.”

She added, “If you kick everyone that says, ‘hey, are you okay?’ You know out. No! Of course, I’m okay. If you don’t trust me, get the f*ck out.”

Joe Rogan on the concept of fame in the modern world

Joe Rogan opens up on the concept of fame in an episode of his podcast show. He gave an example of how he thinks the public made Michael Jackson famous before he had an idea of the fame. Rogan said he doesn’t want that for himself.

He said,” I just I don’t want to be a part of that.  I don’t think it’s intelligent and I also, this is my real honest feelings, I do not think that people… should aspire to it. (fame) It should be something that happens when people like your work.”

“Nothing wrong with getting attention, but it should make sense. There should be some reason. And if it’s out of balance, you know, you should probably look at like, why is it out of balance?” said Rogan.
