THE UFC 290 was a huge event with big names like UFC Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, Yair Rodriguez, Robert Whittaker, Dricus du Plessis, and more. Fighters from different promotions and divisions turned up to see UFC at its best. Sean O’Malley and Aljamain Sterling were also in attendance.
There were a lot of celebrities who attended the fight as well. BJJ great Gordon ‘King’ Ryan was seen at the event alongside Nathalia Santoro. One of the biggest non-UFC names to be attending the event was former United States President Donald Trump. The BJJ artist uploaded a picture posing with Donald Trump and UFC President Dana White and the fans went crazy.

It was a pleasant surprise for fight fans to see Gordon Ryan come out and show support for UFC 290. However, the real show-stealer was former US President Donald Trump. The BJJ ‘King’ took this opportunity and uploaded a picture with Donald Trump, Dana White, and Nathalia Santoro, while thanking the UFC President for making it happen.
The fans didn’t hold back in the comment section; some speak in favor of Ryan while others chastise the picture.

UFC legend Nate Diaz‘s sparring partner and teammate, Jake Shields also commented on the picture, regretting not sticking with Gordon Ryan during the event. “F**k I should have stayed with you“, he said.

However, not all comments from the fans were this pleasant.
“I can smell the steroids and plastic surgery in this photo“, started one fan as others followed, commenting things like, “God this photo is just awful 👎🏾“, and “The cringe in this one…“. Poking fun at the Billionaire’s Fight that has the entire globe hyped, one fan commented saying, “See if you can put in a word for Trump vs Biden maybe for an undercard fight when Musk and Zuck fight. 😂🤣“.

From bad-mouthing his fighters to thanking him? Ryan’s Equation with the UFC President
When the Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk fight was ‘announced,’ and UFC fighters started getting into the mix by offering training, BJJ G.O.A.T candidate Gordon ‘King’ Ryan called out UFC fighters like Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre for ‘seeking attention’. Ryan’s stance on the UFC fighters was in contradiction when he was seen mingling with UFC President Dana White at UFC 290.

With this, fans are now speculating if BJJ ‘King’ Ryan will come to the UFC in pursuit of a championship belt. But with Ryan’s deteriorating health conditions, will that be a smart move for the UFC? Only White can tell.
