‘Platinum’ is one of the most prominent names in mixed martial arts. He hails a professional record of 14-8 under his name. Perry made his UFC debut in 2016 and has competed against some of the notable names in the promotion.

However, ‘Platinum’ parted ways with the UFC after a two-fight skid in 2021. Later, the 30-year-old announced a move to a distinct form of MMA bare-knuckle fighting. Perry is currently signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
He will make his bare-knuckle fighting debut this Saturday at BKFC: KnuckleMania II at Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Perry will clash against Julian Lane in the main event.

Ahead of the bout, both the fighters attended the special pre-fight press conference on Thursday. Usually, fans get to witness many things at a fight press conference like heavy trash talk, intense face-off, and even a scuffle between the fighters sometimes.

However, the ex-UFC welterweight fighter had unique plans. ‘Platinum’ smuggled in a baseball bat at the press conference. After a few verbal exchanges with his opponent, Perry pulled out the bat.
Consequently, it caused chaos during the conference. However, the BKFC security handled the situation, and none of the attendees were hurt. Perry gave a glimpse of his action at the conference before the actual fight. However, fans had a mixed reaction to the ex-UFC fighter’s behavior.
