“The Fragility in Him, the White…” – Mike Jackson Takes One More Shot at Jake Shields After Their Scuffle at the UFC PI Following an Online Spatter

Jake Shields is a household name in the combat world. He is a former Strikeforce Welterweight champion and has also fought across other promotions apart from the UFC. Shields is also known for his controversial social media posts. He often takes to Twitter and gives his opinion on various issues nonchalantly. Recently, Shields also got into a bitter online feud with the noted UFC Welterweight, Mike Jackson. It seems that Jackson was one of the many who was offended by Shields‘s regardless commentary about various issues.

Shields accused that previously Jackson had hurled several insults at him. He had labeled Shields as a person with White supremacist feelings and even gone on to call the former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion a “N**i”.

Mike Jackson viewed Jake Shields as a white nationalist

In his interview with ‘MMAFighting.com’, Jackson fired at Shields. He showed no intention of changing his views about Shields as he also labeled him an unprofessional athlete and a “thug”.

Jackson stated, “Thugs will be Thugs. I understand we’ve got issues. But first of all, you’re not in the UFC. You’re here with a coach or a guest. In this setting, you call yourself a professional fighter, you should be a professional.”

They had also agreed to a matchup to settle this feud, which was to be held in Jackson‘s hometown, Houston. He also dissed Shields, saying, “He told me he’s coming to Houston, come to Houston, we can do whatever we’re going to do.”

Jackson called Shields a white nationalist once more in the ending. He said, I didn’t really think he was going to jeopardize his role at the PI, but I guess he didn’t give a f*** about that. The fragility in him, the white nationalist in him, was like, ‘Nah.’ That’s on him.”

The online feud between Mike Jackson and Jake Shields got real

This online feud turned real when Shields and Jackson came across each other at the UFC Performance institute. The noted MMA coverage media house, MMAFigting.com interviewed both Shields and Jackson about the entire altercation. They also posted this update on their Twitter page, which garnered a lot of reactions from fans.

Both parties accused the opposite one of beginning the altercation. Jackson said that Shields had spat on him and also attempted to land a punch before their final tussle. Shields regretted the choice of place for his action.

However, he didn’t show any remorse for his action of attacking Johnson. Shields stated, “I know I shouldn’t have done that. But the guy had for months just been popping on my Twitter and calling me a N**i, which is complete defamation.”

The scuffle broke out while Shields arrived at the UFC Performance Institute with several teammates. Jackson said that Shields yelled at him saying, “You’re a racist piece of s**t.”

The altercation had the two involved in a brief grappling matchup. Shields stated that he dominated Jackson and was slapping Jackson “like the bi**h he was, and he was like, ‘Help, help’.”
