‘The Greatest Thing That Paul Has Done’- Chael Sonnen Lauds Jake Paul and Says He Should Never Go Back

Chael Sonnen describes how Jake Paul has changed the sport in his new YouTube video. According to Sonnen, the YouTuber turned deserves the credit for bringing a change in the sport.
Jake Paul defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley via split decision in an eight-round boxing match. While analyzing the fight, Sonnen praised Paul and said, “The greatest thing that Paul has ever done is made it eight rounds. Paul will get no credit for this. People will continue to resist him.”
He added, “If more people would copy Jake Paul and just do 8 rounds of boxing matches, the whole sport would be in a better place. Now, I love the way that Paul has disrupted the boxing model. I love the way that he stepped in as a famous guy to do something he wanted to do. You’re a YouTube star and you transition those fans and you pivot over to boxing.”

“That doesn’t just happen because you have 20 million followers there is an art to that. That’s where Jake Paul should credit his ability to bring people along the journey. That is Jake Paul’s life. And for them to not care what genre you’re going into, that is an art like no other if you wanna study Jake Paul. That’s what you wanna study.”
“Don’t study his left and his right hand, don’t even study what he did on YouTube. So the first thing that Jake should get credit for is he could fix the entire sport of boxing. If everybody goes to 8 rounds. You have to make sure that you give Paul credit for this is. He’s changing the sport and Paul should never go back!”
