Soon after the bout, McGregor took to social media to call out Gaethje. No one expected this to come, as the Irishman is already set to fight against Michael Chandler. Now, Abdelaziz has come forward to warn ‘The Notorious’ about what he is heading into.

Ali Abdelaziz was speaking in an interview with ESPN MMA. During the conversation, he talked about a potential bout between Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje. Abdelaziz said, “This guy is a social media influencer. He’s a hype man. He’s not even a fighter. You know the guy isn’t even a fighter. He hasn’t fought for so long. He’s almost 200 pounds. You know what I’m saying? He just wants to steal the shine of Justin Gaethje

He further added, “If Justin Gaethje is okay and this guy wants to end his career leaving on an ambulance from the T-Mobile Arena he can get it. As long as he can make 155 allowed. Like past multiple, not two, multiple USADA drug testing, he can get it and he can retire, in the last day of his career.Ali Abdelaziz, who is also the manager of Khabib Nurmagomedov, wanted ‘The Notorious’ to make weight for a lightweight showdown and also to clear the USADA tests to fight against Gaethje. There was already an ongoing beef between Abdelaziz and McGregor in connection with ‘The Notorious’ rivalry with ‘The Eagle.’

McGregor’s one-word reply

Soon after the bout between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje came to an end, Conor McGregor predicted that he would knock out Gaethje with a single shot. After coming across the Irishman’s wild prediction, Gaethje asked him to sign a contract. McGregor soon responded to ‘The Highlight’s demand with a one-word reply. He tweeted that he had “signed,” which showed that ‘The Notorious’ was desperate to fight against Gaethje.

However, at the moment, McGregor’s return to the UFC octagon is facing a lot of uncertainties as he failed to enter the USADA testing pool. Now, McGregor won’t be able to fight this year, as he should have entered the testing pool at least six months before his bout.
