The WWE is a multi-billion dollar company with no close rivals in terms of popularity and value. But, the wrestling entity was once one of the countless promotions that criss-crossed the country. And one of the most important people who helped make the promotion reach the heights today is legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan.

The Hulkster was a mainstay of wrestling for night over 30 years and was a role model to generations of fans whom he told to take their vitamins and eat their veggies. And while many kids wanted to be Hulk Hogan, Hogan told Joe Rogan who he wanted to be.

Hogan appeared on a recent episode of the JRE podcast. Over the course of the conversation, the two men got to talking about legendary surfer Laird Hamilton. And it was at this time that he made a startling revelation: “This is really gonna sound weird to say because I’ve never admitted this in front of anybody, but I wanted to be him [Laird Hamilton].”

“Could you imagine riding one of those waves, bro? The rush? On a short board. I mean that’s insane. Bro, you fall off, you might not come out of that thing,” he told Rogan.

He told Rogan he had been taken with the surfer and wanted to be him when he was younger. He wanted to feel the thrill of riding a short board on huge waves.

Joe Rogan to be featured on GTA 6

According to reports, the next Grand Theft Auto 6 will include a scene from the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The game is anticipated to release sometime in 2024 or ’25, according to an announcement made by Rockstar Games in February of last year. The studio will invest at least $1 billion in the game’s production. Although specifics are ambiguous, it is widely believed that Rogan’s podcast will appear in the game as a radio station that drivers can tune into.
