In his video, he shared his interactions with all the UFC veterans, giving fans a glimpse into the camaraderie shared among the legends. The highlight of Sonnen’s experience was when his claim about former UFC champion Frank Shamrock was dispelled. Chael Sonnen stated that he always thought Shamrock weighed the heaviest at 193 lbs during his fighting days. But the UFC legend proved that Sonnen couldn’t be any wrong.

In his latest video, Chael Sonnen shed light on his interaction with Frank Shamrock. Sonnen said that he talked to Shamrock and complimented him on his appearance, adding that the former light heavyweight contender’s heaviest weight, at least what he thought, was 193 pounds when he was fighting. He further talked about why and how he stood so confident with it. Sonnen said, “I know that’s a random number, but I happen to remember it. I happen to remember Frank was the light heavyweight champion, and he weighed in at 193.”

Sonnen continued, “And I told him that, I said, ‘If you were 193 at one point, you must still be 193.’ He said, ‘Chael, I’m actually 173’. And he said, ‘I’ll tell you a secret. The heaviest I ever weighed was 176. When you heard 193, that was added by the broadcast booth.'”
He then added, “So fun fact, I didn’t know it. And if you guys go back to the Frank Shamrock time, I mean, come on, that’s pretty incredible.”
Chael Sonnen learned about the fact a little late, but that came as an even bigger surprise. Nevertheless, he still holds a number of great memories of ‘The Legend’ Frank Shamrock and highlighted the cockiest of those moments with the fans.

After getting his theory debunked by the 50-year-old Chael Sonnen went on to talk about the greatest moment of the UFC legend’s career. Later in the video, Sonnen stated, “The greatest Frank Shamrock moment that I saw- and I saw a lot of them, but one that I remember the most, it was in San Jose against Phil Baroni.”
Sonnen further added, “Frank’s out there fighting with him and Frank points at him and then Frank does this *makes sleeping gesture with hand*, he does this sleepy face. He points to Phil while they’re fighting and then he says you’re going to sleep. And then he steps in with a two-feet combo and put him to sleep.”
