Joe Rogan is a man of experience. From working at construction sites to stand-up comedy to UFC commentator to appearing on TV series – the 54-year-old has done it all. It is interesting to note that the MMA enthusiast also hosted a popular stunt show Fear Factor during his initial days.

However, Rogan admitted once that he regretted returning to Fear Factor as a host on his widely heard podcast show ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ on Spotify.

“I had a joke about it that they were gonna kill us all. Gun us down and then blame it on the terrorist. Don’t let the terrorist take your fear factor now back with Mario Lopez. I was always joking around Mario Lopez gonna replace me,” Rogan said.

In the same episode, Rogan admitted he had to work with the show to provide for his family. As he didn’t have enough money in the beginning. However, later, as the stunts turned more gruesome, the UFC color commentator regretted his decisions.

The MMA practitioner hosted a total of seven seasons of the reality show. He was offered an increased salary every new season. Even though he regretted working with the show, Rogan used to earn a lucrative sum of $100k per episode. However, because of censorship concerns, the program was canceled.

Later, as the show’s popularity increased – thanks to notable guests and Rogan’s knowledge – the UFC commentator turned to Spotify. He signed a whopping $200 million deal with the platform.
