Since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor is yet to be seen in the octagon. The inclusion of ‘The Notorious’ in a UFC event definitely turns a lot of eyeballs towards the promotion. There is no official timestamp given for the return of Conor McGregor.

However, veteran MMA journalist Ariel Helwani recently revealed a date on which ‘The Notorious’ could make his return to the octagon.

On his show. Helwani said, “It doesn’t look like he’ll be back in 2022. So now, here you have a guy who hasn’t fought since (July) of last year. The last I heard, by the way, is that Conor might come back in February, March or something like that”

Helwani also mentioned that ‘The Notorious’ did not want to rush his return to the octagon. The veteran journalist said, “What if Conor comes back, stumbles, and gets hurt again? There are a million different things that could happen.”

There’s no guarantee he’ll be back tomorrow, next month, the month after that, and the last I heard, it was early 2023. There is no rush here, as there should be no rush because he is coming back from such a scary and serious injury.

Fans recently saw McGregor at the Cannes Film Festival along with his fiancee Dee Devlin. ‘The Notorious’ was captured along with Australian singer Kylie Minogue. Apart from her, McGregor was clicked with several other stars such as Khaby Lame, and Formula 1 legend Jacky Ickx, to name a few.

After his appearance at the Cannes, ‘The Notorious’ was next spotted at Formula-1 Grand Prix in Monaco. McGregor spent time with fellow Irishman and former motorsport team owner Eddie Jordan. Sharing the images, McGregor captioned it, saying, “Fun at the Monaco Grand Prix ❤️☘️🇲🇨” 

Once he returns, McGregor will have some interesting choices to make. While he currently enjoys his time outside the octagon, fans of ‘The Notorious’ will wait for his return.
