Song Yadong reveals harrowing mugging story

In a recent video clip going viral on social media, ‘Kung Fu Kid’ revealed he encountered a gang of robbers while he was with his friend. They were traveling from San Francisco to Sacramento in California when four individuals robbed them while pointing a gun at them. Sadong said, “For the first time in my life. I was held at gunpoint. Last night, my friend and I drove back to Sacramento from San Francisco. On the way, we were robbed by four black men at gunpoint.”

Furthermore, the bantamweight star was a little intoxicated and had a few drinks while his friend, who was sober, was driving the car. Yadong felt a little thirsty on the way to Sacramento, and his friend decided to buy him some water. However, while searching for a place to buy water, they came across a few gas stations which had no lights at all. But then they found one with lights on and decided to stop there.

Song Yadong added, “Then he drove around and looked at a couple of gas stations that were dark, and then he went to the one with the brightest lights.” However, little did they know that a gang of robbers was already present at the gas station.

Yadong’s advice for dealing with tense situations

Song Yadong claimed that the robbers were already there and not necessarily waiting for them to arrive. They were just there to see whom they could have victimized. Unfortunately, it was the UFC star and his friend. Yadong said, “When we got there, those four black people who robbed us were already there. They’re not following us. They’re waiting for the victim.”

Moreover, when his friend stopped by the gas station and got out of his car to get some water, the robbers immediately put a gun to his head. One robber demanded that he hand over all his belongings, which included money and a necklace, and also ended up hitting him on the head with the handle of the gun. ‘Kung Fu Kid’ added, “My friend drove over and parked there and got out to buy water. When he came out, he was held at gunpoint. The man told him to hand over his money, his wallet, his necklace, and hit him with the handle of his gun.”

However, the robbers had no intention of seriously hurting Yadong and his friend but left after they took whatever they could from them. The UFC star urged people to not act brave but act smart whenever they come across such circumstances. “They take money, didn’t intend to kill. So whether a robber has a knife or a gun, give him the money right away,” said Song Yadong.

It was certainly unfortunate for the UFC star and his friend to have found themselves in such a situation. But thankfully, nobody was seriously injured.
