The rivalry between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is probably the most intense in the history of the UFC. They locked horns at each other numerous times, and Jones secured the victory for himself every time. So does Cormier have any harsh feelings towards the goat? It’s the opposite. Cormier believes that Jones despite being one of the greats of the sport had little to no respect for the promotion. In his latest escapade, ‘DC’ explains the reason for this and agrees that Jones was a better fighter than him.

The former dual weight champion has made his statement on Jon Jones and Dana White‘s scuffle. The UFC’s anti-trust lawsuit has revealed a report stating that White had some huge problems with Jon Jones when he was gaining popularity. After the documents came to light, Jones took to his social media handle to add a comment that read, “Never let a bad employee beat you up and take everything from you twice. It’ll leave you bitter for a really long time evidently”

Responding to Jones’s comments, Cormier took to his YouTube handle to state Jones and White’s scuffle. He stated, “He holds on to the negative things, even if he won both fights. In that moment, it doesn’t change what I would say. It doesn’t change what happened with the fight with Dan Henderson. It doesn’t change what happened with Jones and UFC 200. And it doesn’t change the reason why Dana White went off “

‘DC’ further explained that Jones was too valuable for the UFC to let go. “I don’t think for a second that Jones is actually taking the time to listen to what I’m saying because why would he? I also said that while he did all those things, the UFC couldn’t afford to get rid of him because he’s too valuable.”

Jones’s victory at UFC 214 was nullified and declared a no-contes͏t due to a positive test for ‘Turinabol.’ Following this setback, he managed to secure four more ͏wins in the li͏ght heavyweight divis͏ion before taking on the ͏challenge of competing͏ for the he͏avyweight title at UFC 285 last year. Nonetheless, what exactly did Dana White state that irked Jones to such an extent lest find out?

After the Jones vs. Gustafsson Fight, UFC wanted an immediate rematch for Gustafsson but ‘Bones’ on the other hand was reluctant to fight him again. Jones had another opponent on his mind and that was Daniel Cormier. This act of ‘Bones’ didn’t sit well with White and Fertitta.

The leaked documents revealed that White was not in the mood to entertain Jones. “What’s up with Jones? Did he straighten up or is he still being a scumbag? White asked Fertitta.Still a douche, but we’re inching closer… haven’t moved on money, but sent the letter with an ultimatum.” Fertitta replied White.
