Jorge Masvidal competed in the UFC for a very long time. The fighter has fought in 51 UFC matches professionally. At a point in time, Masvidal was the rightful owner of the UFC ‘BMF’ Title, which he beat Nate Diaz to. The fighter retired in 2023, at UFC 287, after being handed a crushing defeat by Gilbert Burns.
After walking away from the UFC, Masvidal has been seen beefing with Jake Paul. It was later revealed that the two were actually kidding and that it was a prank. This time, Masvidal was seen in a different light. In a recent interview, Masvidal divulged how the sport of MMA changes his life for the better.

Masvidal was recently interviewed by George Janko, where the former UFC fighter shed light on how MMA changed his life for the better.
“I was always like… uh… very introverted till like 29, 28 years old. You know, I wouldn’t talk – one a small chat, just be in my head like what do I gotta do next, the next fight, this and that. The sport – the lifestyle that I live, made me have to come out more in personality. So, I was like…. Dollars, interviews, one-answer words. I was King and I… ask me something I just say something funny one word and I say boom!“, said Masvidal, recounting and remembering his days before the UFC and how the sport really helped him grow.
Emphasizing his point, the former ‘BMF’ champion said, “The sport, like, really brought it out. The daily interactions… things like this you know.“.
On A Good Note – Jorge Masvidal’s parting message for fans
Masvidal is a veteran of the sport. He is a household name when it comes to new-generation martial arts. That is why, when the former UFC ‘BMF’ champion hung up his boots, a lot of fans of the sport were supremely disappointed.
